Billiard hall owner, Budi Jauhari, found himself at the mercy of a corrupt police officer, THS, and his accomplices. THS, a member of the Riau Islands Police Narcotics Division, allegedly orchestrated a fake drug raid with Indonesian Military personnel to extort Budi.

Budi, unable to meet this demand, paid Rp 300 million, but the extortion didn't stop there. THS allegedly continued to demand monthly payments of Rp 50 million as a 'security fund'.

The Riau Islands Police Internal Affairs Division (Propam) has detained THS indefinitely. Head Eddwi Kurnoanto assured the public of a thorough investigation, promising to uncover the truth and address this serious violation. Eddwi emphasized the police's commitment to rooting out rogue officers, stating, "If proven guilty, he will face the full force of the law."
