Major news in the college football world! Linebacker Isaiah Chisom, formerly of UCLA, is now officially joining the Oklahoma State Cowboys via the transfer portal. This move signifies a significant shift in the landscape of college football, as talented players seek new opportunities.
Chisom's journey to Oklahoma State is a testament to the dynamic nature of college football. Before suiting up for UCLA, he spent two years at Oregon State, where he quickly became a key player.
During his time with the Bruins in 2025, Chisom showcased his skills, racking up an impressive 84 tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss, two forced fumbles, a pass breakup, and a quarterback hurry. It's clear that Chisom has a knack for making impactful plays.
But the road to stardom wasn't always smooth. As a freshman at Oregon State in 2023, he played in five games, making one start and recording 14 tackles and 4.0 tackles for loss. The following year, Chisom truly blossomed, starting 11 out of 12 games and accumulating 75 tackles, 5.0 tackles for loss, and other impressive stats.
Before college, Chisom was a three-star prospect, ranked as the No. 1,318 overall recruit in the 2023 class. He was also the No. 131 linebacker, hailing from Los Angeles, California.
And that's not all! Oklahoma State is also welcoming linebacker Ethan Wesloski from North Texas. Wesloski, who played for the Mean Green for the past four seasons, is set to join the Cowboys in 2026. This addition further strengthens Oklahoma State's defense.
Wesloski had a standout junior season, earning All-AAC second-team honors. He led his team with 104 tackles, nine for loss, 1.5 sacks, two forced fumbles, and an interception. Over his career at UNT, he amassed 231 tackles, 21.5 for loss, seven sacks, an interception, and three forced fumbles.
Wesloski was also a three-star prospect in the 2022 class, ranked No. 2,013 overall and No. 215 at his position.
